Ski Dubai is a part of the Mall of the Emirates located on the Sheikh Zayed Road not far from Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Skin Dubai is one of the largest indoor ski resorts with 22,500 square meters
(242,188 square feet) of ski area that is covered with snow all year long. The ski
resort is 85 meters (279 feet) high and 80 meters (262 feet) wide and has the
capacity for 1,500 guests. Ski Dubai has 5 runs of varying difficulty and length,
while the longest run is 400 meters (1,312 feet) with a fall of 60 meters (197
feet). Parents and children can entertain themselves in the Snow Park which is at
3,000 square meters (32,292 square feet) the largest indoor snow park in the world.
The temperatures in the ski resort are being maintained at -1 degrees to -2 degrees Celsius during the day, while the temperatures at night when snow is produced are about -7 degrees Celsius. Since climate in Dubai does not require winter clothing Ski Dubai also offers rental of winter clothing and of course full equipment, while Snow School instructors teach their guests how to ski or snowboard. Besides having fun on the snow the guests of Ski Dubai can also relax in themed restaurants - St Moritz Cafe at the entrance and Avalanche Cafe at mid-station.
